Who is eligible to attend the Annual Conference?
Viticus Group presents scientific and practice-relevant information to members of the veterinary profession and supporting paraprofessionals.
The Annual Conference is not open to the general public, and we reserve the right to determine attendance. The following groups are eligible to attend the WVC Annual Conference:
- Graduate Veterinarians: Graduate veterinarians are welcome to attend the conference regardless of their licensure status, employment status, or school of graduation. A graduate veterinarian, first-year graduate, or retired veterinarian must register as a veterinarian.
- DVM Students: Students must present their current school ID at badge pickup or onsite registration. Note: DVM student registration does not apply to DVM graduates with a residency or internship status.
- Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants, Practice Managers, and Administrative Staff: Veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, practice managers, and administrative staff are eligible to attend the conference. Administrative staff must be employed in a veterinary facility. The minimum age for all registrants is 18.
- Veterinary Technician Students (U.S. and Canada): Must be enrolled in an AVMA-accredited program. Available to 2nd, 3rd, or 4th-year students only. NOTE: Students must provide a valid school ID upon check-in.
