Who is eligible to attend the Annual Conference?

Viticus Group presents scientific and practice-relevant information to members of the veterinary profession and supporting paraprofessionals.

The Annual Conference is not open to the general public and we reserve the right to determine attendance. The following groups are eligible to attend the WVC Annual Conference:

  • Graduate Veterinarians: Graduate veterinarians are welcome to attend the conference regardless of their licensure status, employment status, or school of graduation. A graduate veterinarian, first-year graduate, or retired veterinarian must register as a veterinarian.
  • DVM Students: Students must present their current school ID at badge pickup or onsite registration. Note: DVM student registration does not apply to DVM graduates with a residency or internship status.
  • Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants, Practice Managers, and Administrative Staff: Veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, practice managers, and administrative staff are eligible to attend the conference. Administrative staff must be employed in a veterinary facility. The minimum age for all registrants is 18.
  • Veterinary Technician Students (U.S. and Canada): Must be enrolled in an AVMA-accredited program. Available to 2nd, 3rd or 4th-year students only. NOTE: Students must provide a letter from a program director on school letterhead, verifying enrollment. When registering online, a letter can be uploaded during the registration process. Once verified by Viticus Group, registration will be completed and a confirmation will be sent via email. A letter can also be mailed, faxed to 702.739.6420, or emailed to support@viticusgroup.org. Onsite registration is available with a letter.
